Membership - How to join Pony Club

Once you go onto the PCQ site, scroll down to the ‘My Pony Club” and  click on read more this will take you to the Pony Club Australia – Omni sport page, click on the ‘members’ tab and this will take you into the members portal where you can renew an existing or expired membership or register for the first time. PCQ only offers individual membership not family, as each rider will be given a unique PCQ membership number and will be covered by insurance. Therefore, each member of your family wanting to join Pony Club must have filled out all the information required in their own online registration. PCQ offers two types of membership:

What do my fees pay for

PCQ Fee: the bulk of this payment if for your insurance policy with the remainder going to PCQ. Your Pony Club Insurance is provided through Gow Gates. Please visit the Gow Gates site and click on ‘what is covered’ tab then click on PCA Queensland to view the policy. It is highly recommend that people joining Pony Club are familiar with what they are covered for and terms and conditions that apply to policy.

Whilst the plans provide basic levels of cover for members and others participating in Equestrian activities, it is not all encompassing (this is necessary to keep the cost of insurance affordable for members) and does not seek to replace the need for private health and other insurances. The individual needs of insured persons have not been considered in this plan.

The Pony Clubs encourage all riders and officials to take out their own private health insurance, life insurance and ‘Top Up’ coverage over and above the coverage provided under these plans. Gow-Gates can assist in regard to these insurances and other insurance requirements.”

PRPC Fees: Our pony club endeavours to keep our fees at a affordable level, your fee goes towards the day to day running costs of the club.
